Production Grant Application
From 16 April 2026 onwards, the Production Grant and Presentation & Participation (Extended Play) grant, which were previously open for application annually, can now be applied under the Presentation & Participation (General) grant. In order to accommodate projects under both the Production Grant and Presentation & Participation (Extended Play) Grant, the grant quantum cap for the Presentation & Participation (General) Grant will now be raised to $100,000 per applicant per Financial Year.
From applications once a year, this change enables applications to be submitted in any of the three General Grants cycles in a year. This will create more opportunities for arts companies and individuals seeking support for productions and music recording projects. Internally, this consolidation will create a more streamlined assessment process for productions and music recording projects.
Supportable activities for the Presentation & Participation (General) grant now include Music recording projects, Exhibitions/Performances and Festivals/Conferences. Publication projects may continue to apply under Presentation & Participation (Publishing).
