Class Acts

From PHUNK and Theseus Chan to X’Ho and Slac Satu, discover stories of creative courage and get inspiration for your own. Explore vintage artefacts and archival footage of exciting times and shared experiences at Zouk and the Substation – iconic spaces in the narrative of Singapore’s creative dawn.

This isn’t just a walk down memory lane. It’s a display of the fire and spirit that never stopped burning in some of Singapore’s greatest musicians, designers, and street artists.

Join us for the debut screening of the Class Acts documentary film on 14 Jan 2033 at the National Design Centre and trace the genesis of Singapore’s creative scenes in the ‘90s. The screening will conclude with a panel discussion hosted by Kevin of The Cosmic Children Podcast, featuring Pann Lim (Co-founder, Creative Director of Kinetic Singapore), Ginette Chittick (DJ, Artist, vocalist & bassist of Astreal), SLACSATU (Graffiti Artist) and Tracy Philips (Director of Ppurpose). Hear their perspectives on the DIY culture, Past Present & Future, and creative cross-pollination across different subcultures.

Purchase your tickets and find out more details here (https://www.eventbrite.sg/e/class-acts-documentary-screening-panel-talk-tickets-483694582517)!
