Arts@SAFRA Chinese New Year Celebration – Family Reunion Wall Mural
A wall mural by Liow Yeng Lin will be displayed, depicting how family bonding can be as simple as doing spring cleaning or preparing for reunion dinner together, especially during this period of time.
The Singapore International Photography Festival is a biennial gathering of minds from around the world with the common pursuit of advancing the art and appreciation of photography. It aims to be a much-needed arena for critical thought and academic discussion on photography in Southeast Asia.

Presenting contemporary art works and archival material that nuance Afro-Asian legacies that grew out of the Cold War, this exhibition traces a historical line between early regional imaginations such as Maphilindo to contemporary appropriations of Afro-Asian histories, such as China’s development of cultural infrastructure in Senegal.
The Seniors and Contemporary Art Project is a pilot programme by SAM to engage seniors in nursing homes through contemporary art. Singaporean artists Justin Lee, Zulkifle Mahmod and Tang Ling Nah co-create artworks with these seniors through art-making workshops inspired by the artists’ own adaptations for the SAM Touch Collection.
