Age of Innocence

A duo exhibition by premier Japanese anime and manga inspired artists Yumiko Igarashi and Takeru Amano. This is the first time that original paintings by the two artists will be showcased in Singapore. Igarashi is a legendary artist who has defined the girly manga aesthetic since the 70’s with her hallmark masterpiece "Candy ♡ Candy", featuring sugar-sweet and lovestruck girls that has forever been imprinted on the public's imagination. Emerging painter Amano continues this girly aesthetic with his vivid depictions of big-eyed girls inspired by Pop art, fused with an edgy, street-inspired classical approach.
