Redefining the parameters of interaction between body and light, (W)AVE 2.0 aims to introduce interactive devices that add a new sensory dimension to the experience of space. Wearing the Haptic gloves and Haptic vests, visitors can actively navigate a constructed light and sound installation through touch.
Immersing in different configurations of objects, spatial elements, technologies and moving bodies, (W)AVE 2.0 invites visitors to experiment with the concept of ‘presence’ in an external space through the haptic modality. (W)AVE 2.0 attempts to create an alternative model for mediated experiences, where participants can freely explore the space through new modes of interaction. Using additive devices, lights and sound to play with a constructed environment, (W)AVE 2.0 encourages visitors to re-configure, re-orient and re-think their sensory perception.
(W)AVE 2.0 aims to add a new interaction paradigm to immersive spaces, where visitors have more autonomy beyond visual experience. (W)AVE 2.0 explores the activation of physical places by engaging sensory modalities, creating fresh and alternative perspectives of live atmospheres.
