In BYOA, anyone who has an Arduino/wants to get an Arduino is invite to a safe and fun space for the exploration of open-source technologies as a medium. The format aims to provide a particular technosphere for artists that already work with/wants to delve into microcontrollers and sensors, where patrons can experience and touch interactive art and technology. A dynamic exhibition and experiential space, where artists can entwine, overlap, and find new meanings and collaborations among themselves and with the patrons via technology, BYOA also hopes to ⁠democratise curation by bringing in the curation of art via the artists themselves.
